What was the starting point or inspiration for this handbag collection?
We wanted to create something that felt like a natural extension of With Jéan, pieces that still felt feminine, nostalgic and elevated, but in a way you could carry every day. The inspiration was really around designing bags that felt timeless but still had personality, with that same romantic, slightly undone feel we always come back to.
What was the most important detail you focused on when designing this collection?
Material was such a big focus for us, we really wanted to get it right. It was important the bags felt elevated through the use of leather and suede, but still had that unmistakable With Jéan look and feel. We didn’t want them to feel overly polished or separate from the brand, more like a natural extension of our world.
What’s the most random thing you currently have in your bag?
Probably the 14 lip products I do not need.
What’s your non negotiable handbag essential?
Carmex lol, I have one in every handbag.
What’s your favourite way to style the Freddie bag?
I love styling the Freddie with something really simple like jeans and a white tee - it instantly elevates any simple outfit. I also love it with more oversized, relaxed outfits - there’s something about pairing a smaller bag with a big jacket that wins me over every time.
