This collection feels playful, romantic, and made for escape. Where do you imagine these pieces being worn most?
SAMI: I picture these pieces being worn through summer, from day to night on those long days where you never want the sun to go down or for the day to end so you simply refuse to waste any time and fully utilise the effortless style you've had on all day.
Was there a particular place, memory, film, photograph, or era that influenced the mood of the collection?
EVANGELINE: Memories from our countless European summers were the biggest influence. We wanted to capture that feeling of long days in the sun, warm nights, and the effortless romance that comes with being on holiday.
Il Lido marks the beginning of summer for With Jéan. What does your perfect summer day look like?
SAMI: Wake up and jump in the ocean, followed by fresh orange juice, coffee and a cigarette. Take a morning walk into town to shop, stroll, and buy some fresh produce. Come home and cook lunch before spending the rest of the day by the beach, swimming, reading whilst sharing a bottle of rosé with my loved one and staying there until the sun goes down.
EVANGELINE: I’d be on a Greek island for starters. A slow morning, a swim in the ocean, lunch that stretches into the afternoon, and nowhere particular to be. Just absolute simplicity: good weather, good company, and clothes that make getting dressed feel effortless.
